It's the new way of marketing classical music. The musicians are positioned as superstars. Looking perfect, being sociable, communicative etc.... As long as they continue to be able to make a living and create beautiful new recordings - I am fine...

Yes, but the number of great musician's is quite high but the y have to llok like a superstar.

Would a Giles be noticed today?
