3CD/2DVD release of Jethro Tull’s “Heavy Horses” remixed by Steven Wilson together with what looks like an extended version of their live “Bursting Out” album (i.e. a live concert from Berne, Switzerland on 28th May 1978) mixed by Jakko Jakszyk.

DVDs include Hi-Res stereo and 5.1 DTS/DD versions of both albums.

Very much looking forward to this one in February, and not only for the cover...

I have been waiting for the 24-bit release of the new Sgt Pepper remix.  Well that happened yesterday,  not that you'd notice as none of the www download vendors made a big deal of it.  HDTracks had it first thing yesterday,  Qobuz had nothing all day except a link to Qobuz Italy,  finally the French & UK opened up.  HRA has nothing yet, not even today.  As usual HDTracks pricing is all over the place,  USA is a lot cheaper than UK $-£ FX,  Qobuz +/- matches HDT-USA.

It was worth the wait,  it really is a stonking remix (this is not a remaster)  All so much better in all aspects of detail;  instrument definition - drums & bass especially,  brighter clearer vocals, more air,  no more flat left/right stereo & although its still stereo if has the feel of the old vinyl mono.    I'm a bit undecided about the extra 18 tracks,  yes very interesting, some are nice but as a whole they do not make for a musical listening session.
