What new releases are you looking forward to?

The last one is the new Iron and Wine disc.

The green cover with no title is Gil Scott Heron.
Top right is the new Over The Rhine album.
There is also a new Lucinda Williams album out in March I think called Blessed.
Their is a new Alison Krauss due in Feb along with Mowgai, Harry Connick Jnr, Bruce Cockburn and PJ Harvey.

The last one is a jazz box set from the Smithsonian. New out in March are Edwyn Collins, Green Day, The Boxer Rebellion and Al Di Meola.

The Magic Sam is a Deluxe version with extra trax (thanks to KeanoKing for letting me know about it).

Happy new year to everyone! After 2010 was a year of catching up on reissues of old music (and the DVD releases), for me 2011 is going to be a year for new music.

First will be Blackfield's third album in March, followed by my second solo album in September (a double CD / blu-ray release) and later the album with Mika...el.

A new Blackfield website will launch soon with artwork and audio - see you on the tour!

Like you Oliver the Audiowaves are for me along with the Stevie Ray Vaughan MFSL discs. Texas Flood already released.

The only others that interest me out of the titles I posted would be the Jayhawks Holywood and Magic Sam.

There is a preview track from the REM album at NPR here but the album is out in March. I was underwhelmed but at least they may have stopped making the dreadful buzzsaw racket that was the last album 'Accelerate'.
