Alison Krauss + Union Station: Paper Airplane, streamed here in advance of release. Bet this will have a few takers on the Forum.

Also looking forward to the new albums from The Leisure Society:Into The Murky Water and the eponymous The Head and The Heart. Having heard a few tracks I'd say this will do for the Fleet Foxes until their new one arrives in May.

Just seen on the Airbag FB page...

Identity in vinyl!
As promised earlier this week we have some very cool news! Our debut album Identity is being released on limited edition double 180g vinyl in late June! Knowing that many of you are huge vinyl freaks we thought this would be a nice warm up for the upcoming album. The double vinyl feature all 8 songs from Identity and exclusive new artwork from French artist and long time friend of Airbag Frédéric Peynet (http://www.fpeynet.com/). We'll announce the release date and pre-order information as soon as the last details are ready.

The new album is in the mixing stage, so a few months to wait I fancy.

Steven Wilson - Official FB Page

The new solo album website will probably launch in early June now. The music is done, but we're still working on film material and the deluxe edition. It's presented as two 40-45 minute albums in the same package (which begs the question; when is a double album not a double album? When it's 2 single albums issued together!)

The album titles are "Deform to Form a Star" and "Like Dust I Have Cleared From My Eye"

I suspect the deluxe edition will have some detractors

Yep!

Ever heard of TOO MUCH of a good thing?

Someone else said they were suffering from SW fatigue, I think I agree.

Just have to see what they sound like?

This can now be Pre-ordered as 4 LP box set.

For release in Jun. 68E though.

"Normal " issued CDs and vinyl seem fine to me. No need for super dooper 5 disc version box sets for me.

I have decided that the money is spent on more music, from other people.

I got sucked in to the "remastered" Moving Pictures, I wish I hadn't bothered.

Howard,

This is a live album though,

The same tour as the gig we went to at the 02 a few years back.

Fred,

Thanks for the heads up on that album.

Anything new coming from you later this or next year?

Thanks for asking, Gale. I wish I could give you better news, but nothing on the horizon. I've got tons of music to record, lots of great musicians to record with, cool ideas for projects with various singers, but no opportunities as of right now. You may want to inquire in the home office ... interest from fans never hurts.

Thanks again, and all the best to you.
