What new releases are you looking forward to?

I'll start the ball rolling...
One of my most favorite albums of all time. I've listened to it so much I can literally play it in my head at will ... right now, in fact.
Do you happen to know how this reissue differs from the CD/DVD Rhino reissue in 2006?

No idea. Details on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/If-Could-Only-Remember-Name/dp/B004USRKX8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1306572154&sr=1-3 and Discogs http://www.discogs.com/David-C...My-Name/master/84859 for the latest release are sketchy to say the least. The only difference I am sure of is that it was much cheaper (I doubt it will be HDCD either )
On vinyl!
Hard Fi's new album, title to be confirmed. Leader of the starry skies on vinyl and William D Drake's new album, cant remember the title, doh.
Perfect pop from one of the most talented musicians of his generation. Probably don't need the 'one of' in that preceding sentence.
Available in the UK to listen to streaming on the Guardian website. I have to wait until next week for the record to arrive, and his previous vinyl pressings have all been high quality.
He kind-of had a hit before with "The Magic Position", but I've a feeling this will be the record that makes Patrick Wolf firmly famous. Nothing less than a 5* review so far anyway.

Wish I could get healthy enough to make an Amoeba run. I certainly want to get P Simon's latest.
Last night I played a Geoff pic when he was here, Cassandra Wilson's 'Blue Light Till Dawn'. Wonderful smoky album.
It's already out but news travels slow in these parts.
Cheers

from the delmark website: This new digipak re-issue contains 19 performances: the 12 songs from the original LP, 3 alternates that have been available on CD plus 4 never-before-released performances. There's one completely unissued song, "I Ain't Stranded", and an alternate take to "Yonder Wall" in which Buddy Guy is playing through the Leslie speaker as he did on the title track, something guitar players are still copying to this day. The new four-panel digipak and 16 page booklet package contains nine never before seen photos from the recording session.
i wonder how this will stand up against the original release and the SACD hybrid. Perhaps Miles or Ewemon will let us know....
