Connecting Unitiserve

I have a question regarding connecting a unitiserve to my existing network. How would this work givent that there will be a bulk of my times stored on my macmini; which is located it my basement. The unitiserve will be wired through my airport extreme (via an Ethernet cable from the basement). How will the unitiserve read from the macmini?

Hoping to get some technical advice. A NAS will be looked at in the future , possibly (and how will that work?)

If the MacMini is connected to the network and you have set it to enable file sharing the Serve should find the music folders.

If you are going to use the Mini as a surrogate NAS I would hardwire the Mini to your Airport router.
