Adrian, Sounding great on this foggy morning, and just put it on again. Beyond that, I'm struggling to find the words just now. Only 10 more Supersilents for me to go - all with the same lavish artwork, I hope.

Thanks a million for putting me on to Arve - one of my finds of the year.

No expense spared on the covers. I have found no. 10 the easiest listen with the most Arve.

Try this out for more Arve - atmospheric, moody and elegant.

Karl,

Smile I'm sure your daughter appreciates that - Mullova is really good and this is a spectacular performance of the Sibelius.

Stuck another post-it note in my ECM catalogue for that one. Thanks!

Musically diverse, consistently good, and very nicely produced and recorded.

What to put on after a complete Fanciulla played really loud? Decided on Schubert's 14th quartet for strings: "Der Tod und das Mädchen". Twice, because the Hagen Quartet just doesn't cut it in this music. The AB, on the other hand, are perfect here.
