No. 2 son, Tristan is playing ZZ Top on the main system -

so the house is reverberating nicely to that, whilst I'm exploring Beethoven symphonies, 1 and 3 to be exact -

this is truly 'surround' sound............. Big Grin

Not heard the CD version but I will not be buying such the LP sounds great with good clean highs and lows. Although I'm not an expert I normally use this disc after altering something in my vinyl replay chain, so it must have something going for it!

Don't know if it's been re-issued, mine is an original copy from many years ago.

Cheers,

Karl

Forgot to add the overture 'The Creatures of Prometheus'

Is it me or do other's feel exhausted after listening to Norrington's Beethoven?

Anyway after a brisk walk with the dog for us both to recover ( Big Grin ) its back to the music -

One of the very first Jazz album I heard, and bought, over 25 years ago and it still gets a regular airing.

Yours invigorated,

Karl
