Organ works that came just prior to Bach's own formative years.  It is almost certain that Bach would have been familiar with Bruhns and Buxtehude and may have studied these men in developing his own skills and craft.

I like this CD very much.  It always causes me to stop and reflect some when I think about how many great composers didn't live beyond their early thirties and then I'm amazed at what some created and left us even within this short time.
