The Mikado - Gilbert and Sullivan

The D'Oyly Carte Opera Company

Decca SXL 4006/7

Very definitely black gold - this 1957 recording sounds wonderful and always brings a great  deal of pleasure when played.  I bought the two LP's last year for £1 -quite a bargain

Home Service   "All Right Jack"   (Vinyl)

Great ol' brit electric folk group of 1980's
This is probably their best, a mix of modern (80's) workers anti establishment stuff, old folk copied trad material & local family songs.   Side 2 is all Percy Grainer collected songs from mostly Lincolnshire country folk around 1905

U NEED TO LISTEN
