Jeff:
Lauren Kinhan - Avalon

Hadn't heard of her, checked it out ... some nice stuff. What especially caught my ear was the track Here After ... sounded like The Story, like one of Jonatha Brooke's songs. Later read that Jonatha sings on that tune, and The Story drummer/co-producer Ben Wittman co-produced and played on this album.

Hi Fred

An excellent album, originally recommended here by Irwan Shah and JWM.  JWM, in particular, suggested I get it and it has been in regular rotation since.  I believe she was/is a vocalist with New York Voices.

Went on a shopping spree!  I still find jazz compelling after 45 years of listening and these performers are not some of my usual choices.
