Michael Chance countertenor

Various Recordings from 1988 - 1991

This Compilation (p) 1992 Virgin Classics Ltd.

I don't usually have much fondness of the 'countertenor' [a bit too Black-Adder like to take seriously?] but the beguiling voice of Michael Chance is occasionally included in what is mainly an instrumental collection. All very relaxing, often deliberately slow and delicate, a kind of Elizabethan Chill-out session.
The sound quality is above excellent too, and available pre-owned on Amazon from £1.99 a sheer bargain.

Highly Recommended!
