OK so this image posts in "what was the last Vinyl you bought?" thread, but won't show up here, this place is really doing my head in.

Joe Bonamassa - Dust Bowl.

More of the same from Joe, not a bad thing IMO, a good album.
Usual problem with the vinyl though slightly wobbly very "staticy" and a couple of very bad "clicks/pops", not sure wether to return or not.

I tend to only post on discs which I really like and recommend, but Kempff's Schumann is just so variable I don't know what to think, even after regularly listening to it for years. Some of it is quite good, some of it not very good at all. Currently listening to the Fantasie, where he seems maddeningly inconsistent: at one point spinning a gorgeous melody, the next time chopping it up with an apparent lack of control. Recorded sound is indifferent. Kempff was an important pianist but not my cup of coffee I'm afraid.

Cheers,

EJ

It's amazing these orignal DCD cd's are selling for only a couple of quid each... they sound fabulous : )
