I just heard about Porcupine Tree for the first time yesterday. Can you recommend a first album I should start with?

Hello Mister Crow,

I always recommend newcomers to PT a visit to their home page http://www.porcupinetree.com/

Take your time and listen & view the media player to try the various music styles the band has moved through. The discography will show the releases from 1991 - 2009. to help you   http://www.porcupinetree.com/discography.cfm

Enjoy the journey and let us know if they tickle your fancy.

Thanks for replying to this Denis, it is always difficult to recommend PT albums to others as their syle changes with time. I really like all their stuff from the early albums to their more 'heavy' later ones.

I agree that their website media player is a good place to visit to get an idea of their changing style.
