Another fabulous album from Patricia Barber.

Live, relaxed, close up, and in a very similar vain to ‘A fortnight in France’.

My CD copy comes up with an (mystery?) 8th track which ends the disc with 30 seconds of audience appreciation noise - fade out… can’t have too much of a good thing suppose.

Nice mastering to digital too, wish all CD’s were perfected like this : )

Nothing like re-organising your CD collection to find some albums you haven't played for awhile.

Thanks for your inspiring comments about this and other Patricia Barber CD's. I've just ordered this & Cafe Blue to get a bit of a taste before deciding whether to indulge further!

The Naim Sampler 2.

Posted on: 25 April 2011 by ianrobertm

On the black stuff. Side 2.

'Wall Of Death' got me totally, emotionally, live on the recent tour, but this time is was 'Did She Jump Or Was She Pushed' - didn't expect that.... (sniff...)

Exactly what a real hifi system should be capable of.
