The Decemberists

"The King Is Dead"

note - if so inclined, think a good thought for keyboardist Jenny Conlee, recently diagnosed with breast cancer.  She will be undergoing treatment and will miss, I believe, their May and June  tour dates.  She is a very gentle, sweet lady. Get well soon, Jenny.

A selection of Dead Can Dance albums on Spotify.

Another group I have missed/overlooked, not sure if they will make an entrance to my collection though.

Anyone care to rate their output?

Howard

Hopefully Oliver will reply as I believe he has a number of their recordings.

In my limited exposure, Into The Labyrinth and Spiritchaser are both good.  I do find them more "hi-fi spectacular" sound than I do music I return to often, but very enjoyable from time to time.
