Highly recommended.

Hi Haim, if you like Musica Callada, I can recommend Francois Couturier's jazz trio take on some of the themes:

It's very nicely done.

[ADD] Deutsche Grammophon 2 x CD

Don't know why this double disc is so expensive on amazon... 29 quid anyone?

At an offer not to be sneezed at, i managed to snap up a pre-owned copy for £1.99 which arrived a bit grubby looking but only needed a good soapy wash and rinse before playing...

Possibly recorded in the local Bronchitis Hospital Ward (p) 1965 (mainly) the tenor section choughs all very strong but haphazard, the soprano choughs more tentative during the more voluminous piano noises, with contribution mezzo-soprano choughs in the Flemish Phlegmish Style…

In the background Sviatoslav performs admirably under the conditions, only stopping for the occasional keyboard antiseptic wipe, and a roll of his blue eyes : )
