R.E.M. 'Out of Time'

Did anyone here buy 'Collapse into Now'?

I have all their previous albums, but felt they had run out of ideas, I liked the feel of 'Accelerate' but felt they had forgoten to write any songs, I liked some of the songs on the previous couple of albums, but felt they had no energy and were over produced and arranged out of any interest. It is back to 1998's album 'Up' to find a R.E.M. album I like, but I do like most of their output from the 80s and 90s.

With a few versions of Tafelmusik i thinkingly refer to this box-set as my big cheese version due to the cover picture. Looks like a pork pie in the offering too… no thank you i really wouldn't ...ever.

But imo there is nothing cheesy with this musik, although this final disc is a bit horny for my diminished appetite due to the horrendous cold i seem to be suffering but i’m doing my best with some very sympathetic nose blowing.

Just cooking up one of my veggie soup preparations, and readying the garlic bread, glass of cabernet sauvignon carmenère in hand... for medicinal purposes of course.
