I am no specialist of Opera and therefore cannot really justify, but I like this recording that I found this week. Both the technical realism of the recording and the interpretation suits my taste.  Regards,

Full title - The Ladiesman - Music For The Bachelor...& His Lady. By the mid 1960s, Hugh Hefner's Playboy manifesto was in full swing, & the hi-fi had upstaged the etching collection in bachelor pads everywhere. Seduction, whether an art or merely good fortune, was & still is inextricably linked to music. Although romance does not constitute a music genre, the tracks compiled here share a common aim, from Oscar Brown, Jr. 'A Ladiesman', to Chiles & Pettiford 'The Joker', or the Chris Towns & The Townsmen rarity 'Earthy'. Warner. 2003.
