Yes Jamie I did like it, I'd sort of poo poo'd it the first few times I played it but with a bit of time in between I tried to listen without prejudice and it struck a cord with me. I will try those Steve Hackett albums when I get the chance thanks.

I would hope so, but this album is really Steve Hackett Genesis, although I know there are great fans of 'A Trick of the Tail' on the forum, if you do like this, I would suggest Hackett's 'Spectoral Mornings' to try next. 'Second Out' is superb too.

I'm enjoying this 25CD jazz box set. It's a real grab bag, but it includes lost of stuff I'm unfamiliar with and, for around £30, you really can't go wrong.
