Porcupine Tree 'Deadwing'
Still find this a bit patchy, although has some great tracks in there. The start of where Porcupine Tree moved away from my tastes.

Over the last few days:

I am enjoying Yes 'Fly From Here', pleasant, not a classic, but much better than I expected.

Courtesy of Flylo, and featuring amongst others, Bobby Womack, Curtis Mayfield, Stevie, Miles, Herbie, and plenty of stuff I've never even heard of...

On now, Anita Ward's 'Ring My Bell', ha ha. All two hours or so available as a free d/l here.

And I thought Graham Russell had some good records. That one's for a bet, right?

Hey kuma, You were one of two or three folks here I was thinking of when I posted that one! As far as I know, it's just a download, or like his first Lovers Melt from a few months ago, probably available as a podcast. I've no idea how the licensing and so on works with mixtapes like this, but I can't see it getting a vinyl release.

Some cool records you got there though - I only picked up on FlyLo a little while after Los Angeles came out (which I much prefer to last year's Cosmogramma). I haven't heard 1983 - is it any good?

Hey CC,

Good to see you are still around.

It's a shame it's only a download. I don't do ipods and my puter isn't hooked up on any DAC currently. <sigh> 'suppose this is the way of the future eh?

Haven't heard the FlyLo or Cosmogramma, but 1983 is a fun listen ( particularly on a vinyl ) Altho, if I have to pick, i prefer the L.A.

I've been off the *funky stuff* for a while and trying going *legit*. ( in case you haven't noticed )
