For this recording of Dvorak's best work (IMO), the Emerson mentally shifted back a gear and together with - or inspired by - Menahem Pressler (lead man of the Beaux Arts Trio) came up with a fantastic performance, letting the music speak for itself. The result is far better than you'd expect even from this line-up. They also did a great Schumann - but this one is tops.
