Tangerine Dream 'Vault 4', set 2, Cleveland '86. Official archive release direct from the band's website. Probably a limited edition. Pity they didn't bother designing a cover for it, the Tangerine Tree fan release covers had a lot of care put into them.

Tracy Chapman - Crossroads

But have to stop that; it's just not on par with her debut album.

Hey Lontano, no itch for a Celine Dion album? Winker

No it's got to go. To the charity shop with it.

But I will join you with some Tracy Chapman Smile

Heart - Little Queen

Sheer power on the first track; this is one of my new gems for which I do lack the time for real and total appreciation, but I'm getting there

Edit: this album is way out there! Had not heard it as far as now and I'm trying to find words to emphasise the way it makes me feel now it's finally come to my attention.

Lissie - Catching A Tiger. Even though it was quite "accessible" from the start I still enjoy this album more with each listen. Seeing her live a couple of weeks ago has only enhanced that feeling.

Mark try her live on Youtube excellent!

Hi Ballan,

I snuck a link in my post to their website where you can stream/download it, so you can hear it for yourself - just click on the cover. As for me, I didn't bother with their last after seeing the assembled cast, though I kind of like this one - it has a nice, laid-back feel to it.

By the way, do you know the two Susumu Yokota albums that I posted yesterday? (The ones with birds on the covers, Vol VI pp 1506/7!)

Also one of my favourite finds of 2010. Never thought of checking her out on the tube - some good stuff there, Lady Gaga cover excluded.

Each time I listen to an Hélène Grimaud recital it's a small event...

Claude,

I am doing the same here, only with a much younger Grimaud, ending her disc with the Brahms Piano Sonata No 3.
