This disc achieved its 15 minutes of fame due to the contributions of Inessa Galante and Sergei Leiferkus. It is a rare collection of highlights from Tchaikovsky's 10 operas, played, sung and recorded very well (in fact better than most complete recordings) - and dirt cheap on the second hand market should anyone be willing to check it out.
Cheers,
EJ
