Did you like this?  I think LB is one of the most underrated guitarists ever but when I bought this I was kind of disappointed - perhaps I need to give it another listen, but I thought there were to many effects on everything.

Jeff,

IMO Its not as good as Simple Things and The Garden.

A change of line up didnt help with this one.

Its a shame as i was looking forward to it when it came out.

Stu, I had read that from several posters here when it was released.  I prefer The Garden also, but thought this was quite good.

I was also disappointed when I first bought this, but have recently found it to be much more enjoyable. I would give it another listen.

Solti's Nozze di Figaro probably has the best cast ever assembled for this opera (perfection down to the smallest role, surpassing the recordings by Giulini, Böhm, Abbado, Levine, Jacobs and others) and is directed in a relatively relaxed manner by Solti - who allows his singers to shine at the occasional expense of forward momentum.
