This was already great on the old gold CD but the SACD is even better, am sure the vinyl is stunning too.

Yesterday & today...

Having owned North Of A Miracle on vinyl, these CD's highlight, to me, the writing skills of Nick Heyward. A great re-discovery.

Yesterday, some demonstration class recordings from James Grant...

There must be something in the electricity supply to the studios in Glasgow that captured the amazing voice of James and his excellent musicians. Very high on my best buys this year.

Mazurka galore.

I bought this for Variations On A Theme By Paganini, Op. 35, which I saw Evgeny perform @ the RFH many years ago. It was the most thrilling solo piano performance i've seen and wish it was on DVD.

Just dug this original vinyl album out of the rack,While looking for something else.

I still think Nick went solo to quick/fast.

HC 100 are still the best backing band he ever had.

His son is now playing with them.

How the years passing change things.

   On Vinyl....One of their best

I have just played the Alan Parson original mix of DSOTM. Very interesting and different in many places especially Great Gig in the Sky - with no vocals but quite absorbing still.

Stuck in the H section of my vinyl rack.

I have not played this album in a long while.

It still sounds good.

On Vinyl. Really enjoying the vinyl on my Project Debut 3. Did a stupid thing in the 80's and sold off my vinyl and replaced them with CD's. You live and learn

You were not the only one to do this! I sold all my 12" Singles at the time, still regret it now.
