I dont care what anyone thinks? This band had  the power to make you want to dance to every track they ever did.

They also played some good tunes that will stay in your head for ever.

Rock and Roll at its best imo.

In fact, the more I listen the better it gets. This really is a very good album...

After spending nearly the entire weekend listening to Schubert Piano Sonatas I think I'm ready for Fall and the coming colder temperatures.

For now, it's time for recess....

Richter: Tchaikovsky Grand Sonata

It certainly is *grand*. Richter blazes through with a frightening precision.

Jonatha Brooke - Careful What You Wish For

An early Beethoven/Schumann recital from Pogorelich. The Op.111 is a work of art - a generally slow, lyrical, subtle reading in which each variation gets equal attention. Despite (or thanks to?) the care, Pogo gets the boogie-woogie factor like few others.

Cheers,

EJ

Shelby Lynne - Tears,Lies and Alibis - on vinyl (with B&W cover)
Amazon think it's a colour one though.

Not perfectly flat , but sounds pretty good to me. At £4.47 something of a bargain, thanks Stu.
