The new Ryan Adams. Partial return to form after his two year hiatus and his suffering from Ménière's disease (a painful inner ear infection). Some beautiful tracks on this album. One track though I can't get my head round is Chains of Love and don't think it fits in with the rest of the album.

Saw a show on the tour supporting this release.  On the very first song, Sonny Landreth played a fill that was just mesmerizing.  He had my full attention for the remainder of the show.

I am just catching up on what others have posted. This is one album of his I never really took to Jeff. Somewhere in the house I have an accoustic album of his that was never released. Got it from John.

Hi Ewen,

Not my favorite album of his either but the Goners are an amazing band live and the album lets me relive that from time to time.

The closest to an acoustic album I have by him is Crossing Muddy Waters.  Love it, don't play it enough.

regards

Jeff A

PS: Have just purchased my first proper RCM, the Moth MKII. It has not arrived yet but looking forward to using it. Any tips on use, fluids, applicator brushes etc?

Stu, I know you use one of these!!

Andy,

I use the Moth cleaning fluid from britishaudio.

They do all Moth stuff, you get 10%off your fist order and free post on everything..

I use a very very soft inch and a half paint brush to put the fluid on .

Dont forget to get a load of new polypaper sleves to put the clean vinyl in.

A pair of these are a must have.

Stu.

Thanks for the advice Stu.

I have a pair of Peltor ear defenders, is it really THAT LOUD?!!

Can you get the very very soft paint brushes from any major DIY store?
