One of the most beautiful performances of Strauss' Vier Letzte Lieder and Wagner's Wesendonck-Lieder. Studer is on stunning form, and the fact that Sinopoli and Studer never had the chance to record Tristan & Isolde together remains, in my view, one of the Missed Great Opportunities. Luckily, we have on this disc also the Liebestod.

Cheers,

Great record, one of Hyperion's recent gems. The music was unfamiliar to me, but it is strikingly good.

Jackson Browne "Lives In The Balance"

Beginning an exploration (for me) of some of JB's lesser known (amazon ranking 18,672) and thought of releases.  An amazing songwriter, one of the very best in my opinion.  Spotify is an awesome tool for these types of explorations.
