And very good it is too - although, as with the DOSTM box, EMI could have dropped the tat like scarves, cardboard(!) coasters and marbles and dropped the price.

The music, and sound quality, is however unimpeachable, especially the "previously unreleased" stuff. Looking forward to the vinyl now,

It is late Fall and the cold weather is starting to arrive.  I saw my first snow flakes early yesterday morning and so, along with the crisp, sub-zero temperature, something within me awakens, more heightened than usual, and my passion and hunger for music seems to be insatiable   My mind is racing uncontrollably just thinking of the great abundance of music that I need to hear and feel, all at once in this same moment.  After battles of what's first, then inspiration arrives just out of nowhere.  Two of Chopin's most profound pieces, the A Flat Polonaise Fantasie to begin and the F Minor 4th Ballade to end Disc 1 followed by some Debussy, Ravel and Franck on Disc 2.  Just wonderful!

Went to the local record store this morning to stock up and these were the albums my 12 year old added to the pile for his own listening pleasure. I am delighted to see he is wanting to buy music. I can enjoy the Coldplay but not so keen with the Ed Sheeran but he likes it :-) They have been playing in the car non stop......

Playing this double 180g black stuff for the first time.

This has to be one of my bargains of the year.
