On original 1992 CD : )

On original (1972) vinyl:-

Surprisingly good considering what a hammering this album had over the years.

It must have been a few years since I played this, I'd forgotten what a great album it is.

Hadn't they invented static in 1972 or was the vinyl ingredients different?

Also shows how short the albums were 1/2 way through side 2 and still able to edit this post.

My old time fave is Richter/Wislocki on DG, but this one still holds up just as compelling albeit it has a very different flavour.

Both records draws me to listen whilst many others just become a wall paper or sounds like a pretty soundtrack.

Blue,

Brad is a old forum friend.

I got the very sad email  forwarded from Peter on Monday night.

Such a shame.
