Two great albums! There's a rare chance to catch [em] live in the UK next week as part of the London Jazz Festival.

Hi KK

That was my first ever listen to Willy Mason.  Not sure where I heard of him, it was enjoyable but the voice is unusual enough I am going to need a few more listens to make a judgement.  The songwriting seemed quite excellent.

Last night I saw the Blu-Ray of Time Machine, enjoyed it very much so I got this out to play.

cheers Jeff,

i heard him singing careless wisper and he made that song sound fantastic.  You can find it on the net.  That is why i wanted to know more.  Considering his voice he is very young!

Steven WIlson 'Grace for Drowning'.

After tiring of the recent Porcupine Tree releases, this is a real surprise and a real gem.

The piano and melody in 'Deform to form a Star' really reminds me of Joni Mitchell from around the time of 'Court and Spark', 'No Part of Me' is a little reminiscent of some of Beat Takeshi's films soundtracks. Neither are copies, but just that they remind me of such lovely music is a compliment in itself.

'Postcard' could be a track from much earlier on Steve Wilson's career, perhaps 'Recordings', a period I still enjoy.

Thanks to those who recommended this album to me.

Good news Jamie - you are posting the picture of the big box set version - did you buy that?
