I was going to play Roedelius Selbstportrait Vol.I and Vol.II... but realised after getting them off the shelf i haven't yet cleaned them [their far too staticy for the LP12] so i pulled out my copy of Klaus Schulze 'Mirage', but that's still in the new sealed wrapper!

But my copy of "X" all ready to play so i'll join you...

Debs,

My Roedelius 1/2&3 and all Klaus vinyl have never been cleaned from new.

I just use a static band now.

No mat lifting.

Sinead O'Connor always gives her albums memorable names this is, of course, is her 2003 double album She Who Dwells in the Secret Place of the Most High Shall Abide Under the Shadow of the Almighty.

none too challenging decent sounding digital vinyl.

Guy,

One of the best albums from 2011- IMO

Double 180g black stuff and the CD comes with it.

If i had to pick two albums for this year?

This would be my number one choice .

Love it to bits.

Ry Cooder was in the Magic Band once with the Captain. Haven't heard much of him other than that though I think he made a record called Bop Till Your Drop that I used to like.

My albums of year are about Bisodol and Paper Monkeys. Though, of course, is was predictable that Britain's best would continue to make great albums. There hasn't really been a Ms Bulat to come out of nowhere and produce a masterwork, but at least Polly Jean released another fine record and Kate's Christmas album is every bit as good as you'd expect from Ms Rusby.

I'll try to give Mr Cooder's record a go.

All the best, Guy

Guy,

You must try Mr Cooders album.

I think/hope you will love it.

As its so song based.

I would have  Broadstairs as my number one single of all time,If there was a pole?

Now playing Rock And Roll from this vinyl box set of great 180g vinyl albums.
