Decca gathered almost all recordings by Lupu in two box sets: the solo works, and this one with concertos and several chamber works. For some reason, they saw fit to include the rare first recording of Beethoven's 3rd with Foster in both boxes.
Although the man is known for his idiosyncrasies (for one thing, he doesn't like to record), he is a remarkable pianist, instantly recognizable for his long lined phrasings and beautiful sound down to pp.

Spanish pianist Albert Guinovart plays the piano sonatas of Albeniz on the Harmonia Mundi label.
Cool box set in shape of an old tube radio, even the dials work. 
I'm going to buy this one next on the advice of a friend.
I bought this today on my way home from work and now playing.
Reissue vinyl - German 1977 print.
