I bought this recently on vinly and didn'y get around to playing it for a few weeks. First saw them at ibrox park back in the mid-80s supporting Simple Minds with other acts also there on the day. Obviously these guys were the class act on show..

This is my current favourite:

Modern classical music for cello solo, including Ligeti's brilliant sonata. A fun disc if you'd like to hear the cello pushed to extremes.

Cheers,

"New Blood" by PG. I admit I only bought this due to the praise it has got here (not a huge fan) but i am glad I did. This is very nice indeed.

On CD this morning and DVD last night again.  David Fray has such a beautiful, sensitive touch and he just is brimming over with ideas and vision.

"Hotel California" - I have not listened this for a while so I thought to give it a spin. It has been dark/gray rainy day here. It seemed appropriate to have a little bit of California sunshine feeling for the evening.
