The mention of the Handel's Organ Concertos on the AoAM thread reminded me of the following set, which I have not played for a very long time –

Disc 2 of 3

I bought this almost 25 years ago to the day in Germany, where Diane and I were living at the time, for the sum of 110.85 Dm (pre Euro days!).

Thanks for the reminder George et al, it’s a wonderful set,

Karl

My copy is on CD. Unfortunately I don't have the other 3 reissues to compare this to, however, I love this recording. Imagine winding the clock back to the mid sixties and the atmosphere & ambience of an intimate Sinatra concert in Vegas. A great live performance IMO Cool

I stumbled across this album by accident and it is a real grower...a mighty fine album imco.

The term "grower" definitely applies to this album for me as well. Very good I think.

I played this one to death as a teenager, has aged well and still gets a frequent spin.

And his latest addition

Ozark Henry - Hvelreki

No clue what the title means so that's the new homework...

Love most of his tracks, though some are rather similar, but I guess it's the artists signature and I like it.

Edit: this is even better then his earlier work!
