DVD-A
On Spotify:-
My second listen , but really I can't find anything good to say about this bland album. Singing style is not my bag , sounds like he is straining even at this modest range. As I said before Adge Cutler.
I guess I must have been in a bad mood both times, still that saves me a few quid.
I'll not be giving the Kate Bush another listen either. Dirge.
Now some Brian music:-

Maybe you should have a listen to the vinyl version as it is brilliant.

BigH, I'm loving your instant reviews. 'Wish You Were Here'...
Thought I'd put it on at the wrong speed, and could have done without a ten minute intro to first 'song' (who writes these lyrics?). Woken up by a couple of shouty tracks punctuated by strange noises, ok-ish title track (more noises), repeat of first track (have they only written FOUR SONGS in two years?). Then they just make it up as they go along for ages and I fell asleep again.

Reubs, slooow reply after a hectic few days here. I had a feeling you might have been listening to The Weeknd this year - House Of Balloons in particular is pretty amazing. I love the overall feel of it, helped in no small part by the whole XO design aesthetic - all for something that hasn't even had a physical release.
I had a look for Coracle, and luckily enough, Walls have put it on SoundCloud, so I've had it on a couple of times since I saw your post:
Sounds very Kompakt, which is always a good thing, right?! Cheers, CC

Hi Adrian, Saw your best of the year thread, and I'm sure this will make top five for me too. Must be good if you and me like it, eh?

I look forward to seeing your 2011 choices. I need more music like this Felt album, so let me know if there is anything else I should be hearing. I bought his Wintermusik album also. You can just hear so much atmosphere in the "Felt" recording. Perfect dark room/late night music.
Not one for BigH to try though .......
I played this in the car earlier and my 11 year old asked me to put it on his computer for him to listen to - seems he is developing an interesting musical taste!
