I really enjoyed Wilco this year and a Nick Drake tribute concert. What the heck else have I seen?

Steve Hackett - got to lean on the stage so the view and sound was awesome. Going back to see him again next week.

Right up the front at the O2 London with Adrian and Mike was my only gig of this year so far.

Wilco at the Auckland Civic and Paul Weller at The Powerstation.
Wilco were truly transcendental, while Paul Weller was a dream come true.

Steve Hackett (Holmfirth Picturehouse) for me too, although I enjoyed Mark Kozelek at the Union Chapel too.
Hasn't been a great year for gigs for me, last year was one of the best years ever for gigs for me, and next year looks, good. Last year was too good to live up to.

Just saw Roger Water's The Wall last night in LA. Wonderful theater and rock. Glad I took my ear plugs it was the loudest event I've ever been to. Loved the graphics and special effects and message of war has been broadened out to include other children of wars. Incredible experience and worth the money.
I saw it in 80 in LA and it was wild then.
