Haven't watched it yet but picked up a double disc version of "Quantum of Solace" at Tesco this morning for £7. It's that price for the first three days of its release apparently, today being day1. A bit of a bargain.

Well made Ealing police suspense with some atmospheric locations - highly recommended.

Chris,

Excellent spot!

I grabbed the last one on the shelf and the movie will commence at 2030 (got to wait until her indoors has finished watching Eastenders Roll Eyes)

Well, there were lots of action scenes and I like Daniel Craig's interpretation of Bond, but somehow the film was not as engaging or exciting as Casino Royale.

The damage done to the Aston was criminal!

I actually enjoyed it more at home than at the cinema. Perhaps I need to invite a few chavs round to talk and eat popcorn loudly to get the full Odeon ambience. I think Craig is excellent. Bond has now moved into the Die hard/Bourne area and away from the camp spoofs of yesteryear. That said, anyone seeing this withour seeing CR first would have been at a real disadvantage. I agree about the Aston. All the other "placed" products fared rather better!

And maybe someone with a "large" hairdo to sit right in front of you.
Chavs aren't the only hazard - on one of the last visits to the cinema I was overwhelmed by the collective fumes of perfume given off by 6 mature ladies sitting in front of me, I had to leave early.

Just watched "White Noise 2"

Spooky and interesting. The ending was not what I hoped for.

A Knight's Tale.

A nice piece of familly viewing, and I do enjoy a nicely made film that is not too much of a strain on the leetle grey cells!

I try to reserve them for music, as they have less energy than they once did have ...

Talking of Cohen Brothers :-

We saw this the other night. Typical Cohen Bros. stuff, very funny and a great turn from George Clooney.

Aye. The last part lost me too. What was Tommy Lee's character muttering on about at the end?

"Breach"

A low profile espionage thriller that fails to make your heart race but keeps u interested and drawn throughout the movie. Tried streaming it from my PC to the PS3 via the wireless network but things weren't as smooth as I had hoped. Ended up copying it onto the PS3's hard disk.

Yesterday from SKY Coen Bros season :-
Brother Where Art Thou? Silly but quite enjoyable.
Have recorded Fargo as well.
