A true masterpiece. One of the best, or atleast one of the better movies I've seen.

Funny movie with genuine sense of humor. You need to be a bit familiar with the red neck NASCAR culture to get some of the jokes, though. Having watched the Australian grand prix yesterday during the day, hit the karting circuit myself in the afternoon; this was a great way to finish off the evening.

Since my father discovered Blockbuster home got filled with cheap thriller and spy stories.
Using the pitchfork i brought this to light and yes, it's not bad at all.
I really do like the first scenes when the guy was a digger on his own and broke the leg in the shaft.

"Burn After Reading"
I wish somebody had burned down the studio while they were shooting the movie cause the film sucks! I laughed twice (barely) in the whole movie and this thing is supposed to be a comedy. It is a flop in my book.

Just finished this on bluray 20 minutes ago. Wow! A truely engaging and entertaining film. The characters are so human, so real you develop a genuine attachment and care for them. The chemistry between Jackman and Kidman is beautiful! The cinematography is very good and the soundtrack gorgeous. Although the film is long, you are kept drawn into it. Throughout the movie, core values and morals are spread in a very subtle way which gives the movie an extra dimension.
Really nice. Will be watching it again soon

As long as they burn the damn thing and do it quick I don't care!

Two excellent pieces of cinema.

Indiana Jones IV ...
... I trust that everyone involved in the making of this film is ashamed of it. Utter, utter rubbish - first grade.

Yesterday from SKY Coen Bros season :-
Brother Where Art Thou? Silly but quite enjoyable.
Have recorded Fargo as well.
Is one of the all time great films.
Great actors great script.
Classic.
You will love it.
If I recall, the film (Fargo) starts with the statement that this is based on true events (or something similar) and I watched with that in mind.
Imagine my distaste ... it completely spoiled the film for me.

The Abyss (1989) - extended edition.
Very enjoyable, if a little "corny/twee"
Sound (5.1) is excellent - via my new SuperNait linked to my old Pioneer AV Receiver using the Unity Gain facility.

We watched the "Wallander" Kenneth Branagh series over Easter. Enjoyed them even more this time around than when they were first broadcast. I do hope they make some more.
We also watched both "Madagascar" movies on Monday, back to back. Highly entertaining they were too!
