"Duplicity". Lots of time-shifting which can be confusing, but rather a good yarn. I can never decide whether I think Clive Owen is good or crap!

A strange sort of coming of age tale

Just seen "Scent of a Woman" with Al Pacino, and as much as I love Al Pacino as an actor, he does over do the part I think!!!

The story is also too far fetched as the end 'mock court' scene just wouldn't happen that way!

As my wife said, how much sadder can it get than watching this Big Grin

True - but the demos of 4 different record cleaning machines runs train spotting close for nerdishness. Winker

Recently watched:

Watchmen - hmmm, I think I really liked this. Very well shot, very dramatic, quite dark. Malin Ackerman is gorgeous.

Knowing - heh, fairly good, fairly predictable.

Franklyn - I enjoyed this. Off the wall, sci-fi, mystery, weird what the heck is going on for the 1st half of the movie. Well shot, some interesting ideas, worth seeing once.

We watched this last night -

Simply stunning picture and sound quality.

If you want to see what BluRay can really do, this is the disc to see.

Awesome!

Can you say anything about its sound quality, particularly how it's encoded?
Posted on: 06 September 2009 by tonym
Dear Frank,

Sound options are 5.1 dts-HD Master Audio & 2-channel Dolby Digital.

The sound quality on my original Gladiator DVD was pretty exceptional - encoded in dts-ES, but the BluRay's a whole different kettle of fish.

I'm using the Oppo BluRay player to do the decoding & feeding the 7.1 analogue inputs on my AV2.
