Tone arm wiring advise required

I have a Manticore Musician tone arm. Can anybody answer the following.

I have seen Musician arms for sale stating that they are silver wired. How can I tell if mine is silver wired. The cables do not appear to have any identification on them.

I wish to upgrade the cable from the base of the arm to the amp(at present phono terminated) plus add BNC connectors. Am I correct in thinking there is a socket in the base of the arm? Is the socket a standard socket? If so where can I purchase a replacement cable.
