Can anyone confirm which are the correct mm boards for a 72 and what is the likely price of them - secondhand and new
Thanks
Willie
Thanks

You want NA 322 boards. They are marked in one corner of the reverse side with their model number. Ours have "NA 322/4" which are AFAIK fairly recent. The number after the slash indicates the revision number. The higher the better. Note that 522 boards won't fit a 72, but are for "full width" pres.
A pair of NA 322s are AFAIK about UKP 80 new, less used -- but check the rev. number. They take about a 7-10 days after power is applied bofore you can really judge them.

Thanks Mark - do you, or anybody else, know if NA 323/5 are also compatible?

No, they aren't comatible if you have an MM cart. The 323/5 are rev. 5 moving-coil boards. If they have a sticker with a 'K' anywhere on them, they are for Linn MC carts, otherwise they are 'S' type boards, for all other MC carts.
If you have an MM cart, or a high-output MC such as a DV 10X4 or 20XH, you need 322 boards!

PS: there's some 322s here but they are an older rev. (possibly /4).

Well, I picked up my NAIT3 on Friday (at last - my first Naim!), and I had to order both phono boards and NACA5...
NA322 boards were £100 from Audio-T - since they are a brand new order I'd assume these are 322/5 revision...
So - can you run in a phono stage without playing records through it? I suppose I could get a record with a locked runout groove, but that would wear out PDQ... Can the thing run in (albeit slower) with no signal applied???
