Tosca, Callas, Gobbi, DiStefano @ La Scala. Unfortunately stereo remaster. Awful sound, brilliant performances. What a shame...
Wagner Excerpts, Klemperer. Haven't tried it yet.
Songs in the key of life, Stevie Wonder. 2nd hand, looks original and in good condition, but a real dusty mess. Can't clean it yet since I'm waiting for the shop to repair their cleaning machine. grrr.
All bought at the same shopping trip so can't say which is the last one.

Got the Simply Vinyl 180g releasee of Jeff Buckley's Grace. Whilst it doesnt have the clarity and precision of the CD it more than make up for it with that undefinable old vinyl magic

Does it shave off his 'orrid screechy whine, in the same way that tape made early CD sound OK (in the same way - by smoothing the HF)? (I do own "Grace" - only on CD)
Last vinyl for me:
Transmission - Joy Division (12 inch)
...and 15 other records from a record fair/mate's colleague, including:
Head on - Samson (cheesy, but fun)
Pentateuch of the Cosmogony - Greenslade/Woodroffe (£2 - bit battered, know NOTHING about this - but the artwork - drool!)
Greetings - Timbuk3
Life's too good - Sugarcubes
There's a riot goin' on - Sly/Family stone
Standing on a beach - The cure
Hunky dory - David Bowie (orange RCA lable)
...and a few others
OH YEAH - one of which was:
Wee papa girl rappers - The beat the rhyme the noise
Ultimate cheese, but actually OK...

Another Ebay record
The Cure - Peel Sessions - 12" EP, recorded early in their career (December 1978) - should be great when I finally get my vinyl system up and running in a month or so.

I bought a new TT and my dealer told me where two stores were near him, I obught a lot of stuff, even broke my rule of no duplicates from my CD collection.
Joni- Blue, Court and Spark, Hissing of Summer Lawns
P Simon- Mother and Child Reunion, Still Crazy, One Trick Pony, Graceland
Springsteen-The River
Elton John- Self titled, Honky Chateau, Mad Man
Hollies- Best of
Stones, High Tides,Green grass, Sticky fingers
Beatles-White Album
Talking Heads-Remain in Light, Talking in Tongues
Police- Ghost in the Machine, Regatta de Blanc
Tom Petty- let me up
Dylan-John Wesly Harding
John Prine,
Leon Russell- Carney, Wedding Album, Willie and Leon
Traffic-John Barleycorn, Shoot out at the Fantasy Factory
Steely Dan-Gaucho, Aja
Bonnie Raitt- Home Plate
the Byrds-Greatst hits
CCR
Steve Miller Band- Anthology
and a dozen more, it was quite a stash to go to a small town and get some great stuff in good condition. I even left some at the store I wished I'd picked up, but I was going way over budget. especially after buying the new P5. Now I have to make room on my shelf and figure out an organizing scheme. I'm thinking most of it alphabetically but the 80s stuff separated.
