At the Hi-Fi News Show yesterday:

Steely Dan, "Can't Buy A Thrill" (Speakers Corner 180gm reissue)

The Rolling Stones, "A Bigger Bang"

Secondhand:

Rod Stewart, "An Old Raincoat Won't Ever Let You Down" (Mercury reissue; you can't do that ((on stage)) on a record cover anymore!)

Tom Petty, "Hard Promises"

Green On Red, "Here Come The Snakes" (Used to have this on cassette back in the 1980's, been looking for a vinyl copy for some time!)

All from Vivante stand.

Which town be that? Horsham? - sounds like rather a good market stall.

Correct Mike it is Horsham. It's not a huge stall but he has a fair range of mainly rock, some jazz and blues. I didn't spot any classical but I wasn't looking for any.He has CD,vinyl and a few cassettes. Most stuff from £3 onto £25+ for the more collectable/rare. A £1 box usually has acouple of treats.

DS only if we get "lost". "Oh look there seems to be some record shops along here" Big Grin
To be fair we had just spent an "hour" in Jeffries (Audio T) buying a 5 pin din plug, and listening to a CDS3 +PS,225,S/C and 250 into some largish floor standers(Dynaudio?), a bit boomy in the open shop.

Where the hell are you guys getting all this vinyl?
Bob
Posted on: 04 November 2005 by Stephen Tate
Bob,

Vinyl seems to be having a revival, there are vinyl shops popping up here there and everywhere from what i see.
my local shop is now stocking loads of canadian imports at competitive prices aswell Smile
Also record fares seem to be going strong, plus alot of it can be ordered even in some mainstream shops still.
