H,

I've just spent an enjoyable and nostalgic couple of hours rummaging through this in Borders with a nice cup of coffee.

Just picked up a copy of Dire Straits' Brothers in Arms 20th anniversary remix on vinyl. The music is good, but there is a very noticeable background rumble to be heard when the music isn't playing. It takes the shine off the remix a tad.

Just got a load of dubstep.

Dq1 - Wear the crown - fab space-funk dub 10".
Dubstep All-Stars 3 double 12 - best one is probably Caspa's Rubber Chicken. Bouncy, sinuous slo-mo half-steppa.

And best of all, Loefah's Mud / Ruffage 12 on DMZ. Fantastic deep, throbbing, pulverising, hands-in-the-air dubstep from the master. Probably the best single so far this year.

No reggae sevens this week though.

DSOTM, 30th Anniversary Edition... before I read all the bad comments on that edition's surface noise problems on this Forum!

Claude P

But I still get all the original posters and stickers... and the new 30th anniversary poster!
