Being aware that there have not been any Hawkwind purchases recorded for a number of days I felt obliged to buy Greasy Truckers. I am now waiting for the friendly post-man to deliver.

Cheers

Bloody good store that - it's one of about only three things I miss about not living in Reading any more. How's Bev doing?

Today at the Sound Garden in Syracuse:

The Hives-Tyrannosaurus Hives

Nice Hives style punk-pop.

The Mooney Suzuki-Alive and Amplified

Kind of a letdown based on their earlier albums.

You've bought some LPs that I've actually heard of! (loads actually). If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for the Crespecule compilation? I've been after one for ages.

cheers

Rich,

Ah well, that's nostalgia for you!

The Crepsucule album was £10 (stickered at £12)

I thought that was fair.

The guy who runs Lo Fi Si's local record shop (Bev) is a genuine bloke, who likes his music. We had a good chat about the Factory days, and swapped anecdotes about our Joy Division rarities.

David, no doubt you've noticed Mute are reissuing the Virgin Prunes back catalogue at the end of this month, which is good news.
