I have a computer near the Hi-Fi and a Hi-Fi near the computer, so I can surf and listen at the same time.
I also listen on the way to work, and make compilations on my IRiver.
With a bit of dedication, I can listen a lot at the weekends and less so in the weekday evenings.
This reminds me, while my Broadband has been off I haven't kept up the listings - never mind.

Last week, whilst on a week off work, I visited a local charity shop on two separate days, and on both visits I arrived just minutes after donations of vinyl. This has never happened to me before and I can only hope it happens again – for the princely sum of £1.00 each:-

Marvin Gaye – ‘The Hits of..’ and ‘I Want You’
Stevie Wonder – ‘Talking Book’
The Stylistics – ‘Fabulous’ and ‘Rockin Roll Baby’
Average White Band – ‘A.W.B.’, ‘Benny and Us’, and ‘Soul Searching’
Bee Gees – ‘Cucumber Castle’, ‘Life In a Tin Can’, ‘Best of ..II’, and ‘Two Years On’ (all Aussie issues on Spin label)
Cat Stevens – ‘Tea for the Tillerman’ and ‘Mona Bone Jakon’
Paul and Linda McCartney – ‘Ram’ (Aussie 1st press on Apple)
Kenny Everett – ‘The World’s Worst Record Show’
The Kingston Trio – ‘Back In Town’ (and looking pretty smooth, it has to be said)

There were 38 albums in total (so I’ve forgotten 6 for the time being) and all are in (conservatively graded) Ex/Ex condition, with most being 1st issues - I am astounded that some of these are 40 years old and am well looking forward to my day off tomorrow, when I shall have a chance to investigate them all fully.

The Shadows - The Shadows (their 1st album) in glorious Mono not in the greatest condition. This takes me back to why I wanted to play guitar. Its a shame I still can't play above the very very basic stuff.
