help NAC 92/92R

Hi,
About 5 years ago, my local dealer let me test two integrated: the 3 and the 3R. The 3R was clearly better; it was not, as he told me, just a remote that was added but a new rearrangement on the pre-amplifier section. I now want to buy a 92, and I want to know if the differences between the two of them (92/92R) are significant or if it is just the remote that makes the difference.

Nuno, I've been informed the 92r also has the better preampstage. Maybe you want to mail Naim to get the correct answer.

Am I the first to notice, or is it possible that the forum has a new Nuno?

Now I know that many will say the old Nuno is better all around, but honestly, would Naim have come up with a NunoX2 if it was just better?
