goldringelite, P9 match and different elites(1,2,reference)

I m supercontent with p3/elite1.
based on information of superintresting "lp12 vs p9"thread and knowing sound of lp12 i want now to upgrade to
p9.first time i will keep elite1
Questions are:will the tonal balance be the same as i have now with p3/elite1?
who knows the soundwise differences between elite1,2,and reference?
Is shiraz a good match with Rega (rb1000 and p 9)? Only thing i take as given is that p9 is
definitly an upgrade to p3 and not a sidegrade,
as any other turntable could possibly be.
